The HOKUTO-KI 2nd World Kudo Championships will be held on
13TH November 2005 in Tokyo Japan.

3. Competition Events
Competitions will be conducted in Kumite (sparring).There will also be
Champion's demonstration and Jukucho's world record ice break.
4. Invitation to attend at the Championships
a. Invitation to attend 2005 Hokuto-ki 2nd World Kudo Championships will
be sent to KIF members and other friendly martial arts organizations.
b. The KIF will advise the Organizing Committee the names of any new
member federations accepted by the KIFHQ in the KIF Congress so that they
can be invited to take part in the Championship.
5.Entries and Check-in
a. The Preliminary Entry Forms stating clearly the exact number of competitors
for each team can be sent or faxed or E-mail to the Organizing Committee
(c/o KIF) no later than
30th July 2005 24:00 hr. (Japan Sandard Time. hereafter J.S.T).

c. The Final Entry Forms must be completed in duplicate. One is to be
sentto the Organizing Committee (c/o KIFHQ), the other copy must be brought
by the team as confirmation during team registration in Tokyo.
d.No changes or additional entries will be accepted after the due date.
Under special circumstances, Federation may apply to the Technical Committee
in writing for alternatives but there will be a penalty charge of US$100
per participant. No changes will be accepted after
1st November, 2005 22:00 hr. (J.S.T ).
e.All Entry Forms must be properly typed or printed in English or Japanese.
They are valid only when signed by the President or Secretary General
of the respective Federation and bearing the official stamp of the Federation.
f.The Organizing Committee will be responsible for all tournament expenses.
The participants are responsible for their own round-trip airline tickets
and local transportation. Each team member will be charged US$50 per day
(4 persons per room) for accommodation, food (2 meals: Breakfast and Dinner).
Total amount must be remitted to the following account on or before 24:00
hrs. 30th September, 2005(J.S.T). Late payment will be charged US$100
per person per day.

Attn; We have support funds for the team unable to manage expenses
for accommodation and food from the morning of 11th November
2005 until the hotel check-out time 10:00 hr on 15th November 2005
(J.S.T) at the reserved accommodation place. All or among the team
competitors (maximum 6 competitors and a team leader, totally 7 or
less persons. The others must pay by themselves) qualify for the
support funds. But in this case we are so sorry that we can not give a
bonus cash even when the competitor concerned win the top 4 places
in this tournament. Refer to 7. Placing and Awards
g.The person staying before and beyond that time mentioned above will
have to pay his own expenses.
h.All participating teams are required to check-in at accommodation place
no later than 11th November 2005 17:00 hr. (J S T).
6.Competition Management & Technical Officials
a. The 1st World Hokuto-ki Championships Organizing Committee, under the
guidance of the Daidojuku Executive Committee and the Technical Committee,
shall be responsible for the organization of the competitions during the
Championships.
7. Placing and Awards
Certificates will be examined by Daidojuku. The Organizing Committee will
be responsible to make the medals and certificates and Bonus cash and
organize the presentation. The top 4 places of each class will be awarded
as follows:
1st Place Gold Medal and Certificate and Bonus cash $ 2000
2nd Place Silver Medal and Certificate and Bonus cash $ 1500
3rd Place Bronze Medal and Certificate and Bonus cash $ 1000
4th Place Certificate and Bonus cash $ 500
Attn 1. Bonus Cash is only given to the competitor who declines acceptance
of support funds. Refer back to 5-g
2. KIF is not only an Organization of martial arts but also "Budo"
organization, we don't do things for just our own personal strength but
also place value on the overall beneficial contribution to our fellow
members and organization as a whole. A competitor's strength is
derived from their fellow members' overall success as well as his own.
Therefore,a competitor who gained the Bonus Cash should donate
a portion from 10% to 30% (for example, a ratio of the athelete's own
expenses to all expenses), to the organization to which he is affiliated.
8. Other Matters
Each Team is required to bring the following:
(1) 2 national flags, regional flags. (95cmx135cm);
(2) national anthem or federation song in cassette tape;
(3) 3 photos (passport size) for each team member;
(4) Copy of the Final Entry Forms;
(5) Health Certificates of all athletes ; Life insurance Certificates
Issued by an insurance company in their own country or region.
(6) 1st Hokuto-ki World Championships "Waiver of Liabilities"
one for each team's participant.
