Kakuto Karate International Federation Daidojuku
Dear Federation Members,
The following rules are the result of 21 years
of research and development in the area of "Kakuto Karate." We feel that these
rule have been time-tested and while being the most competitive and exciting,
they are also one of the most safest sets of rules in martial arts today.
Our HOKUTOKI TOURNAMENT consists of three main PHILOSOPHIES:
First, we want to ensure that the safety for the competitors is our first priority, thus we use
face guard protectors.
Second, in order for the competition to be exciting to watch and interesting from the audience's perspective, we have adopted the
"full-contact/standing fight rule."
Last, our goal is to attract those interested in NHB competition to our system, thus we strive to create a system of competition that
resembles "actual combat." Therefore, we have incorporated many different
techniques into our system and regulated them with our set of rules.
Thank you and best regards
Takashi Azuma
